Due to negative stigma and feelings of shame, children with a disability in Indonesia are often not being taken out for a fun trip. Having fun is a basic method to make the children feel safe, loved and joyful in order to make progress in their development. Besides the fact that they learn how to fuse with changing environments, to interact with outsiders and to grow confidence and independence, these activities are a wonderful strategy to advocate to society as a part of our mission to establish inclusive and disability friendly environments.
